Work Environment\n

The selected candidate will primarily work from home, maintaining flexible hours while also being available for occasional in-person engagements at a local educational facility. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with requirements for occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to meet the school's operational needs. On-call duties may also arise for urgent mental health situations, ensuring our commitment to our students' welfare.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, examining their personal histories and presenting issues, while carefully evaluating risk factors.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students' mental health needs, emotional well-being, and seamless integration within the school environment.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to address a variety of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth, enhancing emotional regulation, and instilling effective coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals as needed.

• Educate students and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and resources available within the community to foster understanding and resilience.

• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and staff development activities to enhance collaborative practices and continuous learning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
