Job Description
Title
Nursing - Geriatrics

Schedule
- Shift Type: Block
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Patient Census: 35 patients
- Ratios: Days 1:8 | Nights 1:17 | Weekends 1:10

Requirements
- License: NY license required in hand to submit
- Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- EMR: EPIC experience is required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient conditions.
- Provide catheter care and assist with specimen collection and labeling.
- Implement pressure injury prevention techniques and ensure skin care.
- Utilize appropriate safety measures and equipment for patient transfers.
- Follow isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 16 hours (held during day the first week)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Pre-approved Time Off: 1 (per posting)
