Senior Manager, Deployment Excellence

Position Summary Senior Manager, Deployment Excellence leading the Enterprise Standards for Solution Validation and Business Ramp‑up and Cutover. The manager trains and mentors project teams, oversees hiring and contract resource management, and develops strategies and plans for project execution. Location Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America (additional sites in NA and LATAM available). Major Duties & Responsibilities Lead the development, continuous maintenance, and implementation of Deployment Excellence Standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Analyze industry trends and regulatory changes, providing guidance for updates to standards. Plan and allocate resources, creating tools and schedules that meet current and future project needs. Engage and manage stakeholders to set expectations and communicate project progress. Manage budgets within the responsibility area, ensuring financial objectives are met. Collaborate across SC Excellence, Innovative Medicine, MT Supply Chains, and JJT, sharing best practices and solution roadmaps. Maintain relationships with external providers, onboarding expertise efficiently and tracking service improvements. Support the Deployment Excellence Center of Excellence in stakeholder engagement and resource needs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project execution and deliver exceptional outcomes. Serve as the point of contact for GxP and SOX compliance related to document management and deployment processes. Participate in process excellence assessments, driving operational optimization and quality improvements. Maintain collaborative relationships throughout the supply‑chain network to maximize resource effectiveness. Promote a common understanding of deployment across the organization through partnership engagements and stage‑gate oversight. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in large‑scale complex system deployments. Strong communication, change‑management, and project & program management skills. Knowledge of GxP and SOX requirements and an understanding of functional and matrix structures. Ability to build and develop high‑performing teams and manage multiple team members on a matrix basis. Experience managing risk, including escalation and resolution of systems and support issues. Initiative in innovative problem‑solving within a fast‑paced global environment. Strong collaboration, influencing, partner‑building, conflict‑resolution, and negotiation skills at all levels. Excellent organization and prioritization abilities. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Supply‑chain deployment methodology experience. Functional knowledge and experience with systems in regulated sectors such as medical device, pharmaceuticals, or consumer healthcare. FPX project execution capabilities. Program management in a complex matrixed environment. Six Sigma or Lean certification (preferred). Business acumen and financial background. Adaptability and flexibility to changing environments. Pay Transparency Anticipated base pay range: $122,000.00 – $212,750.00 per year. Benefits Vacation: 120 hours/year. Sick time: 40 hours/year (48 hours for Colorado residents, 56 hours for Washington residents). Holiday pay, including floating holidays: 13 days/year. Work, personal, and family time: up to 40 hours/year. Parental leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care. Bereavement leave: 240 hours per immediate family member (40 hours for extended family per year). Caregiver leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period. Volunteer leave: 32 hours/year.
