Qualifications:
- Current RBT or Paraprofessional Certification is required
- Valid Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (blue card)
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with school-aged children (K–12) is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to various learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, one-on-one or small group behavioral support to students as outlined in their educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and other support professionals to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment
- Implement behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts or special education teams
- Track student progress, document behaviors and interventions, and report on performance as required
- Respond confidently to crisis situations, following CPI protocols to ensure a safe campus experience for everyone
