Managing Attorney

As Managing Attorney, you'll carry your own book of law matters while playing an active role in the firm's operations and attorney team. This is not a pure management role; you'll stay in the work. But you'll also have a seat at the table on hiring decisions, team performance, client relationships, and firm strategy. Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 Responsibilities:

• Managing and mentoring a team of litigation attorneys
• Handling high-value settlements, real estate, business, and construction disputes, and complex dissolution matters
• Maintaining your own billable targets while supporting the team in hitting theirs
• Partnering with firm leadership on growth, capacity planning, and culture

Qualifications:

• Supervised 10+ attorneys in a prior law firm
• Handled 20+ bench trials
• Handled 5+ jury trials
• A self-starter, you don't need to be managed; you need to be the resource
• Comfortable with accountability: scorecards, billable targets, and weekly metrics are part of how we run
• Someone who's led or mentored other attorneys and wants to do more of it
• Client-facing and confident, you can hold a room in a settlement negotiation
