Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, accounting software What You’ll Actually Do Journal Entries: Assist with the preparation and accurate posting of various journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded. Account Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive account reconciliations across different ledgers, thoroughly investigating and resolving any identified discrepancies to maintain data integrity. Close Support: Actively support both month-end and year-end close processes, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting deadlines. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain precise and organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible for review. Compliance and Analysis: Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with established company policies, while also assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed. The Must-Haves Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for this position. This is an entry-level role that demands a strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles and comprehensive financial reporting. Experience: Requires 0-1 year of professional accounting experience; internship experience will be thoughtfully considered as relevant. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical, including the ability to utilize complex formulas and perform data analysis effectively. Skills: Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse accounting tasks. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
