The Lopez Marriage and Family Consulting Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote telehealth team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical mental health services to individuals and families from the comfort of your own home. We value flexibility and work-life balance, with a schedule of 30-40 hours per week tailored to meet both professional and personal needs. In addition, a hire-on bonus is available upon joining our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Providing crisis intervention services by creating pre-crisis and crisis plans, as well as conducting risk assessments and formulating medication treatment plans.
\n
• Completing all necessary documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the clinic’s policies.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs and determine appropriate treatment modalities.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans and promoting a holistic treatment approach.
\n
• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold clinic standards and protocols.
\n
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders, including state agencies, community partners, and service systems.
\n
• Engaging in continued professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and representing the agency at statewide meetings.
\n
• Upholding and promoting the clinic's mission and values in all interactions.
\n
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with your expertise and the needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional challenges, those recovering from substance use, and individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• An independent LMHC license granted by the state board of Florida.

• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing comprehensive reports.

• Strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey clinical concepts effectively to clients and team members.

• Demonstrated judgment and clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to operate autonomously when required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
