Registered Nurse - ICU - 36 hours - Midnights

Unit Overview Intensive Care Unit- is an 26-bed mixed medical-surgical intensive care unit. The population consists of patients with multiple and complex medical diagnoses including but not limited to DKA, Respiratory Failure, Post-Cardiac Arrest, post-cardiac catheterization with interventions, sepsis, stroke/tPA, surgical procedures requiring q1h monitoring or lifesaving interventions. Our nurses are trained in caring for patients with balloon-pumps and Impella devices. RN utilize the hypothermic protocol in post-arrest patients. It is a great place to grow your knowledge and clinical skills. The RN staff will attend the Critical Care orientation class. ACLS certification is mandatory within ONE YEAR of employment. ICU at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is known for their great teamwork, close working relationships and quality patient care. Education / Experience Required Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
