Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Touch, you will work onsite in our outpatient office environment. You will join a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured environment that supports patient care and professional development. Our facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff, fostering teamwork and a shared commitment to high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise interventions, and patient education.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, maintaining a focus on individualized care and attention.
• Monitor and analyze treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and promote lifelong wellness through personalized fitness regimens.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately in our EMR system, such as WebPT.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging them to make meaningful lifestyle changes.
• Encourage patients to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination to enhance their overall health.
• Stay current on best practices and advancements within the field to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from orthopedic injuries. You will work with a diverse range of clientele requiring rehabilitation services that promote healing and restore optimal functionality. The compassionate care you provide will be pivotal in helping patients overcome their physical challenges and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirement: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in Virginia, with no board actions or disciplinary history.
• Skills: Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Professional Attributes: Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with comprehensive rehabilitation techniques and patient wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
