Maintenance Mechanic II

Our client, a leader in industrial maintenance and manufacturing support, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the HVAC/Refrigeration team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II Location: Liberty, SC Pay Range: $30.31 Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM What's the Job? Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems including ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, and environmental chambers. Work independently on mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. Assist in preventive maintenance activities and order parts necessary for repairs. Follow safety protocols and GMP policies to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to improve work processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/R system maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment, including control systems and refrigeration components. EPA certification for refrigerant reclaiming and disposal is preferred.
