Sr Maintenance Technician

Job TitleResponsible for performing a wide variety of hands-on technical tasks in support of producing quality fittings and/or quality hose assembliesEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCreates preventative maintenance schedulesMaintains and monitors completion ratio of PM - taking action to achieve goalsPerforms assigned preventative maintenance schedulesCreates a daily plan of action to optimize work balancing and requirementsMaintains continuity between shifts to ensure that information is communicated and work flow is maintainedOther Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaximizes production and maintains quality by correctly repairing, maintaining, replacing, installing, and troubleshooting all mechanical and electrical systems.Creates weekly action plan for achievement of improvement action items or assigned projects. (including gathering information, materials, scheduling machine downtime)Performs uptime improvement action items for assigned production equipmentPerforms facility maintenance (snow removal, general facility needs) as requiredDevelops and executes a skills plan to train Maintenance TechniciansSkills And AbilitiesThe ability to communicate at a high level, both receiving and disseminating information for clear understandingThe ability to make complex judgments in the interest of the company and employeesCan demonstrate and be considered a leader in Company ValuesHas an expert level of knowledge as it relates to analyzing data using methods that will facilitate process analysis and improvementsProficient computer skills in all applicationsExperience RequirementsA 2 Year technical degree with equivalent years of experience minimum and satisfactory completion of the standard YIA employment selection testA minimum of 3-5 years of related experiencePhysical Requirements Essential To Perform The Duties Of The JobFrequently remains in sitting position to perform duties at desk and on computerFrequently communicates with employees, customers and suppliersFrequently communicates to external and internal customers to understand their requestsOccasionally walks, kneels and standsFrequently drives to the customer via automobileOccasionally flies to the customer via airplane
