Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry in accordance with location requirements. Support site operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders, while following post orders and reporting maintenance, hazard, and security-related issues. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. This is primarily a driving post. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
