About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgery Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New York providing hospital-based surgical coverage.

This role involves:

• 24-hour weekend call shifts (Friday 7 AM / 3 PM – Monday 7 AM)
• Managing vascular surgical cases including bypass procedures and amputations
• Working with an APP for first assist
• Covering two nearby hospitals
• EMR system used is Epic
• Hospital-based patient population 18+

This is an excellent opportunity for vascular surgeons seeking hands-on surgical weekend coverage with procedural autonomy and support staff available.

Requirements

• Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) in Vascular Surgery
• Active medical license in New York required
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong procedural and surgical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
