You will need to have a strong basis of mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, HVAC, and fire and safety procedures. Long term care experience a plus.TechnicalEnsures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.Performs preventative maintenance procedures.Requires full range of body motion.AdministrativeMaintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.Understands department budget.Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporate requirements.May train personnel to meet Center needs.Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.QualificationsOne year experience in a long term care center preferredAbility to read and write English for business necessityAbility to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairsOne year experience in basic trades preferredWorking knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferredConsumer ServicePresents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
