Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our– Core Automated Testing team in Indianapolis, IN!Work Schedule: Monday-Friday ,Tuesday-Saturday (rotating), First ShiftJob Responsibilities:Supervise day‑to‑day production and non‑production laboratory activitiesEnsure quality and accuracy of testing performed by supervised staffAssign appropriately trained personnel and manage staffing levels to meet workload demandsSchedule staff to align with workflow requirementsProvide direct supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and troubleshooting supportOversee non‑production activities such as validations, surveys, and quality initiativesMonitor performance metrics and ensure timely completion of QC, PT, and reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standardsSupport audits, inspections, client visits, and inquiriesAssist the department manager and act as delegate when neededParticipate in staff recruitment, training, development, and retentionPerform testing duties within area of competence as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree qualifying as a Medical TechnologistFour or more years of relevant clinical laboratory experiencePreferred Qualifications:ASCP, MLS, or equivalent certificationAdditional Job Standards:Strong leadership and team supervision skillsKnowledge of clinical laboratory operations and regulatory requirementsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentStrong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skillsComputer proficiency and ability to work with laboratory information systemsLaboratory environmentExposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicalsNo routine travel requiredAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
