Located in Commerce, CA Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Part-Time Bookkeeper $25.00 - $28.00 per hour / DOE Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 5 hours per day (15 hours per week) A leading company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of customized bulk material handling systems is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage day-to-day accounting functions while maintaining accurate financial records. You are applying through Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning staffing firm. Responsibilities:- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and balance accounts.
- Process accounts payable and customer billing.
- Prepare and file sales tax reports.
- Pull, review, and maintain financial reports.
- Ensure accurate financial records and assist with other bookkeeping duties as needed.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
- Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and standard office equipment.
- Strong bank reconciliation and account balancing skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Professional references are required.
