We're partnering with a well-established construction organization seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction payroll experience, particularly in a union environment, who has hands-on experience with certified payroll and enjoys working in a detailed, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
- Manage payroll from timekeeping through final processing
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports
- Review employee timecards and resolve discrepancies
- Interpret union agreements, wage rates, and benefit requirements
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and union payroll requirements
- Reconcile payroll and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Respond to employee, project team, and union payroll questions
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Construction payroll experience strongly preferred
- Union payroll experience required
- Certified payroll experience required
