We are currently seeking a research, drafting, and court attorney to join our litigation team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
- Manage a litigation caseload with support from legal assistants.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required.
- Active Michigan bar license required.
- 3 years of private practice experience or more is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with probate litigation, estate disputes, or trust litigation is a plus.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
Compensation:
Based on experience.
Work location:
In person and office location is flexible. Some remote options may be considered.
