Principal Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and promptness. Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring data integrity and timely entry into the system. Handle a daily average quota of customer phone calls and emails. Monitor and follow up on backorders, providing proactive updates regarding order status, expected delivery, and tracking information. Ensure timely receipt of customer due‑in payments. Communicate with internal teams to resolve order or account‑related issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all customer interactions. Maintain and update customer account information with accuracy. Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Assist customers in obtaining information on services from other DFJ departments and/or DFJ vendors. Perform off‑hour telephone coverage as needed. Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business objectives on an as‑needed basis. Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. Minimum one year of customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with Automated Order Entry Systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and follow‑up skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Required to work rotating shifts. Additional Desired Qualifications College education preferred. Previous customer service experience in the aviation industry. Valid driver’s license. Working Conditions Office environment, including the use of personal computers. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.Ability to travel as required. Heavy customer correspondence. Ability to work varied shifts, as needed. Some weekend and overnight coverage. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position typically falls between $50,000 and $55,000 per year. This position is eligible for overtime and may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus, shift differential, or relocation assistance. Final compensation will depend on experience, education, location, and shift.
