This facility operates as part of a health system and maintains a 15-bed emergency department with an annual inpatient census of approximately 22,250 encounters. The facility is equipped with air and ground transfer support to facilitate immediate patient transfer as clinically indicated. Established clinical protocols and infrastructure are in place to support locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods.

This state spans three distinct geographic regions offering a range of experiences suited to varied interests. The state's geographic and cultural diversity, combined with mild temperatures throughout the year, provides clinicians on assignment with accessible options for exploration during time away from clinical duties.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during night shifts (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) at this on-site 15-bed emergency department, with coverage dates of December 26 - December 30. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups, averaging 65 patients per day, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system throughout each assigned shift. Air and ground transfer support is available for immediate patient transfer needs. Board certification is required, and BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications through the American Heart Association are mandatory; internal medicine and family medicine physicians with emergency experience are eligible for consideration.
