Vendor Recruitment Assistant

This role is responsible for assisting management with the day-to-day operations, vendor recruitment, and vendor compliance.

Place ads and review online vendor applications for various job posting websites.

Researches and recruits new vendors locally, regionally, and nationally as needed.

Maintains a working relationship with vendors to ensure policies are being adhered to and compliance items are up to date.

Working directly with onboarding, procuring, and maintaining vendor profiles.

Ensures vendor compliance for insurance, vehicle registration, and licenses.

Terminating contracts of vendors who are not upholding company policies and procedures.

Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates.

Working collaboratively with the Vendor Coordinator team to build and maintain a solid, trusted database of vendors.

Education and/or experience:

High School Diploma

1 year customer service experience

1 year experience in high volume recruiting

Transportation industry experience preferred

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment

Physical requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
