Drake is a small to mid-size company, providing industrial control solutions to various markets. Some of those include Oil & Gas, PetroChemical, Refining, Power Generation, Marine Power and Propulsion.
The inside sales representative is an integral part of the Inside Sales Team whose main objective is 100% customer satisfaction by delivering fast, courteous and professional service.
This position opening is for an entry to mid-level sales associate with administration experience.
Duties | Skills:
- Answer sales calls
- Monitor and pick-up sales email requests
- Generate customer quotations in the ERP system and submit these to the customer
- Follow up with quotations identified as high potential
- Process POs and place orders to principals or from internal inventory
- Generate order acknowledgments and send to appropriate customer representative
- Direct customer technical requests to appropriate internal resources
- Maintain a continuous learning mentality and actively train to gain product/industry knowledge
- In addition to inside sales duties, assist with administrative work as it pertains to sales
The inside sales team is centralized at our headquarters, located in Houston, TX. You will be interacting with the sales team on a daily basis, via email, MS Teams and phone.
The Buena Park office is located in a well-kept business park near the 5 and 91. Business casual dress attire is required on a daily basis.

Salary: $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
