Market Development ManagerThe Market Development Manager is a front-line sales contributor that is focused on profitable growth of Commercial Rental, Full-service Lease, and Contract Maintenance product lines through continuous new account acquisitions.RequirementsGeneral qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED is requiredValid driver's license requiredReliable vehicle, to use during the course of business, requiredMinimum two years of outside B2B sales experience requiredSome commercial truck leasing & rental experience preferredPhysical requirementsSit or stand for hours at a timeFull range of motionAble to tolerate various outdoor conditions for brief momentsSafely operate a motor vehicleSoftware utilizedMicrosoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Phoenix, proprietary dealership management softwareEnrich, industry-specific web-based softwareWeb-based customer relationship management (CRM) softwareTypical expectationsCarry out prospecting activities in person, by phone, by emailPerform needs assessments to qualify sales leads or opportunitiesPresent capabilities presentations and proposals, in person and virtuallyMaintain profitable rental fleet utilizationPrepare accurate and thorough lease contractsDevelop a working knowledge of class 5-8, commercial truck specsMaintain a current prospecting listTrack and report sales activities in CRMMake sales calls in the presence of company managersWork harmoniously with all managers and coworkersCollaborate with NationaLease National Sales RepsAssist administrators in the collection of outstanding receivablesAssist operations team in coordinating service appointments and repair events • Travel occasionally
