Position Summary

Join our Pediatric Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse. This position involves working 3-night shifts per week, with a commitment to holiday coverage. Candidates must have a robust background in pediatric care and be available for holiday bundling shifts during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Shift Ratio: 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends (may increase during busy periods)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirements: Scheduled as needed

Qualifications

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Emergency Nursing
First-timers Accepted: Yes, with strong ER experience
Certifications Required:

BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
PALS
ENPC

Additional Skills:

Pediatric dosage calculations
Phlebotomy
Starting IVs
Interpretation of 12 Lead EKG
Trauma and resuscitation experience preferred

Special Requirements

Candidates must have pediatric experience in either a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department or solely in a Pediatric Emergency Department. Religious and medical exemptions for COVID vaccination are accepted with appropriate documentation.
