Hourly Pay Range $37.47 - $58.08 – hourly pay rate offers depend on expertise, experience, and other factors. Position Highlights Sign‑on bonus (if applicable) Location: [City, IL] Full time / Part time: [Full Time / Part Time] Hours: Monday‑Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules] Overview Under the direction of the Staff Radiologist and IR Senior Manager, this position performs and supervises procedures at a high technical quality, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The role includes a variety of technical and clerical duties and may assume responsibility for special procedure examinations, manage inventory, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Produce angiography examinations to optimum technical quality. Perform all routine and emergent IR exams independently. Assume managerial responsibilities: staff scheduling, annual reviews, performance improvement committees, and departmental initiatives. Manage and maintain IR inventory in Q‑Sight and other systems. Maintain on‑call and staffing schedules; participate in rotating on‑call schedule. Oversee physician dictations and ensure timely reporting. Act as coding/billing liaison and proficient in IR coding/billing. Assist in staff training and orientation of technologists. Assist patients, families, and staff with procedures, positioning, and post‑procedural care. Ensure compliance with radiation safety, protocols, and equipment maintenance. Assist with transport of patients and handling administrative tasks like phone, reception, and paperwork. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate or associate degree in radiology, ARRT registered, IDNS licensed, current CPR certification. Minimum of 2 years general radiology experience; 3–5 years specific IR experience preferred. ARRT, IDNS, BLS certification (CPR). Experience in IR coding/billing and inventory management. Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi‑task, work weekends/holidays/emergencies, and travel as needed. Proficient with RIS (Radnet), PACS, and departmental software (Q‑Sight, RIS, PACS).
