Work Environment\n

As a remote therapist, you will work from home while connecting with patients via telehealth platforms. This arrangement fosters a flexible work-life balance, allowing you to meet the varied needs of your clients while maintaining your personal commitments. You will operate in a structured schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with some required flexibility to accommodate patient appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify specific mental health concerns unique to your patients, tailoring treatment plans based on their individual histories and cultural contexts.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques to meet the diverse needs of clients, whether they require individual, family, or group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals, ensuring comprehensive, coordinated care for all patients.

• Respond effectively during mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention to those in acute distress.

• Educate both patients and their families about mental health conditions, collaborative treatment options, and available community resources to empower better health decisions.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential patient records in line with legal and ethical requirements, ensuring compliance and quality of care.

• Participate actively in case conferences, interdisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing training focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health therapy.

• Stay engaged with the latest research and evolving best practices in the mental health field to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, complemented by a strong cultural competence in therapy practices.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy within diverse, inclusive frameworks.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to maintain composure during challenging situations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients and team members alike.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary technology for teletherapy.

• A commitment to professional ethics, including maintaining confidentiality and setting clear professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
