Claims Examiner

Overview Position located in Macon, Georgia. Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Property and Casualty (P&C) Claims team seeks a highly motivated, energized and positive individual to assist customers during claims. The role offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work both virtually and in the office. Responsibilities Customer communication throughout the claim process. Investigation of policy coverage applicability and evaluation of loss. Negotiation and settlement within company guidelines and state regulations. Review and request necessary claim documentation. Assign damage claims to appraisers and manage the process to ensure accurate estimates and timely inspections. Utilize valuation programs (CCC, AUDATEX, ISO, NADA, Kelley Blue Book) for automobile claims. Determine coverage application and review master policy, certificates, waiver forms, and applications. Provide professional responses to borrower and lender claim inquiries. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes. Preferred Qualifications College degree. Minimum of 2 years of insurance claim processing experience. Property & Casualty Adjuster License (preferred). Salary Estimated base pay range: $18.80 – $32.69 per hour; pay may vary based on experience and individual qualifications.
