Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Remote, PST hours

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $200-200 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, ~ 5 months
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am-6 pm PST

Job Summary:

• Translate business needs into technical solutions for a fast-scaling tech organization
• Configure systems, manage vendors, and drive automation
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical projects end-to-end: requirements through launch
• Configure and customize business systems (permissions, workflows, integrations)
• Manage vendor evaluation, contracts, and SLAs
• Own documentation, knowledge management, and risk mitigation
• Identify automation and process optimization opportunities
• Support and train end-users; monitor system performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar
• Experience with systems configuration, API integrations, and iPaaS
• Strong requirements gathering and technical documentation skills
• Proven vendor management experience
• Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in AI and its societal impact

Nice to Have:

• Enterprise systems, SQL, or BI tools experience
• Agile/Scrum or ITIL knowledge
• Relevant certifications
• High-growth startup background
• Experience with knowledge management systems or intranets
