Schulte Companies is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands‑on Guest Service Representative to join our team to help create exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. You’ll be the welcoming face of Hyatt Herald Square New York . In this versatile role, you’ll provide front desk service, assist with food & beverage service, and ensure guests feel right at home, greet them with warmth, and keep everything organized and running smoothly. Job Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and throughout all interactions before departure, with a focus on personal recognition. Review arrival lists daily and assist in preparing and assembling welcome amenities. Escort VIPs to rooms and check them in prior to arrival. Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed. Handle bank transactions: count bank at the beginning and end of shift, ensure all cash drops follow proper cash handling procedures, and report cash over/shorts to management. Keep front desk area clean and organized. Assist with lobby activation as needed. Utilize proper procedures when handling guest PPI data. Follow the check‑in/out checklist, retrieve necessary identification documents and payment upon arrival. Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries. Provide food & beverage service support as a host during meal operations and assist servers if needed. Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives. Education and Experience Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations. In‑depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations. Minimum of high school education. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic computer skills. Friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic personality. Effective verbal and written communication.
