Looking for Teaching Assistants for the Mathematical Modeling at Mercy University (M3U) summer program at the Dobbs Ferry campus. The job runs from 7/6 - 8/1, Monday-Friday 10:15am-4:15pm, plus a Saturday banquet on 8/1. TAs will help high school students with math problems, explain math concepts, guide a team of five students on an applied math project, grade problem sets, and otherwise help out with the activities of the M3U summer program. Ideal candidates have strong math skills including calculus experience and are willing to work with teenagers. Bonus if the candidate has experience with differential equations. Compensation: $20 per hour.
