Labor Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Labor Associate in Dallas, TX. The role involves providing legal advice and representation in various aspects of management labor relations, including handling unfair labor practice charges and advising on union-related matters. Duties Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Research and write on management labor relations. Represent management in NLRB elections. Advise employers on union organizing and corporate campaigns. Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements. Manage grievance and arbitration proceedings. Obtain mass picketing injunctions. Advise on protected concerted activity under the NLRA. Conduct management training on labor relations. Advise on union work stoppage situations. Requirements JD from an ABA Accredited Law School. 3+ years of traditional labor law experience. TX Bar Admission. Understanding of state and federal agency enforcement techniques. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. May include regular business travel. Education JD from an ABA Accredited Law School. Certifications TX Bar Admission. Skills Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques.
