Food Service TechnicianPosition: Food Service Technician (Part-time – 3-3.75 hours per day)Work days: Monday through Friday (school year)Location: DistrictSalary: $17.38 per hour to $22.02 per hourDescription Of PositionCarry out assigned food preparation tasks (cooking and serving) at the direction of the manager and/or assistant manager.Receive and store food according to the specifications of the manager and/or assistant manager.Maintain sanitary and health standards in accordance with the CT Public Health code.Operate cash registers in school cafeteria (training provided).Sanitize all kitchen equipment and assist with closing duties of the kitchen at the end of the lunch period.Maintain confidentiality of any student information.Assist in any related duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of high school diploma, experience with National School Lunch Program preferred.Experience in food preparation.
