Job Title: Medical Records Assistant
- Medical Records Processing: Process pending medical records requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Project Support: Assist with special projects assigned by the Medical Records department.
- HIPAA Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Team Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding request status and documentation.
- Records Management: Organize and manage electronic files and records.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Comfortable working within Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- EHR Experience: Prior experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is a plus, but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Independence: Ability to work independently once trained.
