Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Badge Screener for Warehouse in Vernon, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, shipments, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
