Specialty Representative/ Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Pittsburgh N, PA (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for a bone health sales territory in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to healthcare providers, driving territory sales, managing customer relationships, and navigating payer environments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits and product knowledge to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory effectiveness, provide market feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High school diploma with 6 years sales experience (Specialty Rep)
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6 years, or High school diploma with 8 years (Senior Specialty Rep)
• Sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, inflammation, bone health, or related specialties preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Proficiency in sales planning, business knowledge, impact communication, and internal/external relationship cultivation

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base salary annually
