• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound evaluations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, thoroughly explaining each procedure with empathy
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of superior diagnostic images
• Oversee the operation and upkeep of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Keep meticulous records of procedures and patient information using electronic medical records
• Remain updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is favorable

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
