Receptionist Essential Job Functions: Answers phone lines and operates a switchboard. Routes calls to facility departments. Takes and relays messages to facility departments. Sends emails and faxes. Greets visitors warmly and ensures they are comfortable. Ensures reception is tidy. Coordinates mail flow in and out of the facility. Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties. Assists Business Office Manager with accounts payable receipts. Hands out employment applications.
