Business Development Manager - DACH

As we continue expanding our presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and strengthen our position in the DACH insurance market . Once you're here, you will: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with Adacta's growth ambitions in the DACH region. Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities with insurers, MGAs, brokers, insurance groups, and technology partners. Leverage your professional network and market knowledge to generate qualified leads and build a strong sales pipeline. Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including executives, business leaders, and transformation teams. Understand customer challenges and position Adacta's solutions through a consultative sales approach. Conduct market research to identify trends, modernization initiatives, competitive developments, and partnership opportunities. Lead customer meetings , workshops , and presentations tailored to business and technology stakeholders. Coordinate and manage RFI / RFP responses, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations in collaboration with internal teams. Manage the entire sales cycle , from prospecting and qualification to closing and account development. Represent Adacta at industry events , conferences , partner meetings , and customer engagements across the DACH region. Maintain accurate sales forecasts , pipeline visibility, and CRM records. Contribute to go-to-market activities , regional growth initiatives , and partnership development . Who are we looking for? We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and the DACH market. You enjoy building trusted relationships, navigating complex enterprise sales processes, and creating value for customers through innovative technology solutions. Qualifications that we expect: 3–5+ years of experience in B2B , enterprise software , insurance technology , or consulting sales. Experience working with insurance companies , brokers , MGAs , financial institutions, or other regulated enterprise clients . Proven ability to generate pipeline , manage opportunities , and close commercial deals . Existing network within the DACH insurance, broker, MGA, insurtech, or insurance software ecosystem. Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement processes, and contract negotiations. Strong consultative selling , communication , presentation , and negotiation skills. Confidence in engaging senior decision-makers and multidisciplinary buying committees. Understanding of enterprise software solutions and insurance business processes. Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English ; professional working proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
