Rare Disease Business Manager – Primary Immune Deficiency & CIDP Part of the PI/CIDP Sales Team, reporting to the Sr. Regional Business Director. The role focuses on driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment. Key Responsibilities Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations, provide product information, and educate healthcare professionals on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources. Identify and engage key influence points within healthcare provider offices to influence diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/ordering. Participate in community education events, conferences for healthcare professionals and patients. Lead outreach to Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, and Neurology HCPs to educate and inform on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP. Analyze local and regional business/managed market trends to develop short‑ and long‑term business plans. Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to achieve high customer satisfaction and pull‑through opportunities. Operate compliant within a matrix environment and safeguard confidential patient information per Takeda policies. Key Skills Excellent organizational and territory planning abilities. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA). 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence across decision makers. Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and territory planning skills. Ability to interpret analytical data for sales strategy development. Strong collaborative skills within a matrix of cross‑functional partners. Understanding of payer access and reimbursement. Adaptability, learning agility, and commitment to regulatory compliance. Resides within the territory or supported geography. Preferred Requirements 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare disease. Sales experience with biologic products requiring coordination with patient access and market access teams. Relevant clinical or industry experience. Consultative / needs‑based selling skills. Experience working in a highly regulated marketplace. Openness to emerging technologies and AI‑enabled processes. Travel Requirements Ability to drive and/or fly to accounts; occasional business meetings. 25–50% overnight travel may be required depending on location. Training Requirements The position requires successful completion of mandatory product training (written and oral exams). During training the employee is a non‑exempt employee and eligible for overtime; after completion the employee becomes exempt and eligible for incentive programs. Compensation Hourly wage range: $66.11 – $90.91 (USA – FL – Virtual). Salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
