Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodating diverse learning needs
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education staff, support personnel, and families
• Familiarity with a variety of teaching strategies, technologies, and positive behavioral supports
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement personalized instructional plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide direct instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in resource or self-contained settings
• Adapt curriculum materials and modify classroom environments to support inclusive learning
• Track student progress, assess needs, and maintain accurate records for compliance and evaluation
• Collaborate regularly with families, specialists, and school staff to support each child’s individual growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
