Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Incident Reporting in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring your professionalism and communication skills to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to help identify unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor site access and support visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
