We are looking for a commercial Painter to join our manufacturing team of decorative items! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting. You are an experienced commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must! Responsibilities:
- Paint using a proper applicator (spray painting, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques (hand painting antiquing
- Identify proper materials and quantities for new orders
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
- Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
- Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
- Inspect paint jobs for quality
- Spray base paint on Iron and Wood surfaces in the Spray spots using spray guns.
- Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
- Previous experience in commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
- Teamwork
