This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become temp-to-hire for the right candidate.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, has strong data entry accuracy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced accounting department. The company is experiencing significant growth, resulting in increasing invoice volume and a consistent need for skilled AP professionals who can manage a large workload while maintaining accuracy.Responsibilities:Process and manually enter approximately 400-500 invoices per weekReview invoices for accuracy and proper documentationCode non-PO invoices to the correct general ledger accountsAssist with weekly payment processing and check runsSupport weekly payment batchesResearch and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain accurate vendor records and documentationWork closely with the accounting team to ensure timely payment processingFollow established accounting procedures and internal controlsQualifications:2+ years of Accounts Payable experienceExperience handling high-volume invoice processingStrong data entry skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to accurately code invoices to general ledger accountsUnderstanding of AP processes, payment runs, and invoice reconciliationProficiency with Microsoft Office, including ExcelAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsWhat We're Looking For:Someone comfortable managing a large volume of work with minimal automationA team player who can prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy under pressureAn individual who takes ownership of their workload and enjoys working in a growing organization
