This is a full-time remote position within our telehealth facility, where you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively to provide high-quality mental health support to clients throughout the state.

This role allows for flexibility through our remote work setting, which enables mental health professionals to engage effectively with clients using telehealth platforms. The schedule is designed to provide a work-life balance where therapists can meet clients during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with issues related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. This involves gathering detailed histories and assessing symptom severity.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, employing a strength-based and client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster positive mental health outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, enhancing the integration of therapeutic, medical, and support services.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and continuity of care.

• Participate in professional development activities such as workshops and trainings, aimed at enhancing clinical skills and staying updated with research developments in the field of mental health.

• Advocate for clients' needs, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues, and participating in community outreach activities as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals dealing with mood disorders, focusing on those experiencing varying degrees of depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within New Jersey.

• Demonstrated expertise in treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with medical professionals to ensure integrated client care.

• Evidence of a successful track record in achieving positive patient outcomes in mental health treatment.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capability to engage with clients from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
