Litigation Attorney

Our international law firm client is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its Texas litigation practice. Candidates may be based in Beaumont, Houston, or San Antonio. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who enjoys taking ownership of cases, appearing in court, and handling sophisticated insurance defense and personal injury matters. The role offers substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to continue developing a strong litigation and trial practice within a national platform. Role Overview The attorney will take a leading role in managing litigation matters through various stages of the case lifecycle. Responsibilities may include: Managing insurance defense and personal injury litigation matters Taking primary responsibility for assigned case files Developing case strategy and evaluating liability, damages, and exposure Drafting and arguing substantive motions Taking and defending depositions Handling hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings Preparing witnesses and experts Leading matters through trial preparation and resolution Negotiating settlements and developing resolution strategies Communicating directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments Mentoring junior attorneys where appropriate Candidate Profile J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active Texas Bar membership required 8+ years of litigation experience Experience handling insurance defense and/or personal injury matters Significant deposition and hearing experience Extensive trial preparation and courtroom experience Strong motion practice and independent case-management experience Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills Strong organizational and communication abilities Comfortable taking significant ownership of litigation matters Why Consider This Opportunity?
