Business Restructuring & Reorganization Staff Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation$220,000 – $300,000+
A leading law firm is seeking a Business Restructuring & Reorganization Staff Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in supporting sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, distressed M&A, and Chapter 11 matters as part of a nationally recognized restructuring practice.
Ideal Background• 4–6 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or distressed transactions experience
• Experience supporting Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and distressed acquisitions
• Experience representing debtors, official committees, lenders, or other stakeholders preferred
• Experience with bankruptcy court filings, disclosures, and related procedural matters
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Active Illinois bar admission required
Sophisticated restructuring and bankruptcy platform
Exposure to Chapter 11 matters and distressed transactions
Meaningful responsibility supporting complex restructuring engagements
Strong mentorship and professional development
Exposure to distressed M&A and special situations matters
Collaborative national practice
