Overview Seeking a COTA to cover therapy services in Lake Mary, FL to provide treatment in an ALF and/or Home Setting: $50/tx. We are an outpatient therapy clinic seeking passionate therapists to deliver therapy in an ALF setting for geriatric clients, with a focus on proactive, preventive care and aging-in-place. We encourage the use of clinical judgment, transparent payment reporting, and flexible scheduling with patient assignments in one location to avoid driving between homes. Visit our website at Responsibilities Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner Provide skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence Communicate with families, physicians, and other health care team members Maintain timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record Use and manage necessary equipment and devices as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associate in Occupational Therapy Two years (preferred) of clinical experience in respective fields of study Actively licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Type & Compensation PRN position. PRN means you work on a per diem basis as needed. Roles include flexibility in scheduling, varied settings (ALF and residential home settings), and potentially higher pay rates without typical benefits; no long-term contracts.
