Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Title

This role directly supports accounts receivable processes for industrial refrigeration projects and clients. Multi-tasking is essential in this role.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Customer invoicing and collecting

Assisting customers with invoice inquiries and payment method updates

Sending statements of outstanding invoices to customers

Reviewing A/R aging reports and following up on past due balances

Progressive invoicing on industrial refrigeration engineering and construction projects

Assisting with system implementations and process changes

Building sustainable relationships with industrial refrigeration customers and partners

Managing a small volume of incoming phone calls

Assisting with other duties as requested

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role, preferably supporting industrial refrigeration operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and accounting/ERP software used in industrial refrigeration service and construction operations; ability to learn new systems and processes.
