Senior Director, Mavacamten Medical Product Lead

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director to lead global medical affairs strategy for Mavacamten across hypertrophic cardiomyopathy indications. The role requires developing integrated evidence plans, scientific narratives, and cross-functional medical strategies while representing the product at cardiovascular leadership levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute worldwide and US medical affairs strategy for Mavacamten across all HCM indications
- Lead cross-functional Asset/Indication Medical Strategy team and set strategic medical direction
- Oversee asset development strategy across full product life cycle including new indications and label expansions
- Establish global medical data generation strategies and manage investigator-sponsored research programs
- Engage external thought leaders and cardiovascular experts to drive product adoption and market positioning
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare (MD, PharmD, PhD)
- 8+ years pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs, medical strategy, or clinical research
- Cardiovascular medicine expertise, preferably in cardiomyopathy or heart failure
- Deep scientific knowledge of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy pathophysiology and myosin inhibition
- Strategic leadership and cross-functional matrix navigation capabilities
- Experience developing integrated evidence plans and clinical data strategies
