Senior Director, Global Medical Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Mood Disorders

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director to lead global medical strategy for its Mood Disorders portfolio across development and commercialization. The role requires strategic direction of a medical team, cross-functional collaboration with commercial and R&D partners, and external representation as a scientific leader in psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee execution of global Mood Disorders medical strategy aligned with enterprise objectives
- Lead Medical Matrix Team and drive integrated medical planning from development through commercialization
- Serve as senior medical partner across commercial, regulatory, and R&D teams on strategic decisions
- Partner with Associate Director to delegate and oversee thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and publications
- Cultivate relationships with global thought leaders and represent BMS at major scientific congresses and forums
Requirements
- Senior-level medical or scientific leadership experience in neuroscience or psychiatry
- Demonstrated expertise in medical strategy, portfolio management, and lifecycle planning
- Cross-functional collaboration experience across commercial, regulatory, and R&D functions
- Track record building and mentoring high-performing medical teams in matrix environments
- External engagement experience with key opinion leaders and scientific forums
- Strong understanding of mood disorders treatment landscape and competitive dynamics
